Our Story

About One Mission Bible Church

We are a new church planted in Leander but rooted in a long-standing legacy of gospel saturation in the greater Austin area. From the beginning, our prayer has been to join God in the work He is already doing—seeing lives impacted and transformed by the good news of Jesus Christ.

Our church family loves God, loves people, and seeks to make disciples of Jesus. Life together centers on following Jesus in everyday ways—growing in our faith through studying Scripture, praying, and engaging in meaningful relationships. We believe the gospel is meant to be shared and multiplied. As God leads, we invest in people and trust Him with the future, sending and supporting others for the sake of His kingdom.

We believe everyone has a place and a purpose in God’s story. As a community, we encourage one another to live out our faith with intention, generosity, and compassion—serving one another, caring for our neighbors, and engaging the diverse city around us with humility and love.

Our core values shape how we live, lead, and love. We are a unified body that is:

Reliant on God

We desire to be a people wholly surrendered to God and fully dependent on his power working in our lives. We faithfully seek Him in prayer, we diligently study His Word, and we obediently submit to His Lordship in our lives so that we would know Him more deeply and rely on Him more fully.

Making Disciples of Jesus

We follow the example of Christ as we prioritize the intentional, relational discipleship of others to help them grow in their knowledge of, affection for, and obedience to Jesus and to lead others to do the same.

Living with Purpose

We equip and encourage each other to embrace our God-given purposes. He has uniquely designed, gifted and called every believer to join Him in the work He is already doing to advance His kingdom.

Generous

We share sacrificially of the time, giftings, and resources God has entrusted to us. We give, not out of obligation, but as an act of worship that draws our hearts closer to the God who spared nothing for us.

Loving our Neighbor

We honor the enduring truth that everyone matters to God by being a family of believers who are committed to caring well for one another by engaging, serving, and reflecting the diverse community around us.

Multiplication Minded

We multiply disciples, leaders, and churches, following God’s call to expand His Kingdom. We trust God’s timing as we joyfully release people and resources, even when it means sending out our best before everything feels polished.
